No pet treat is 100% risk free

While incidents with our pet treats is extremely rare, we do not claim our treats are 100% risk-free. While our bone products are not cooked and have not calcified like a cooked bone has, just like a raw bone they can still present a small potential hazard. Some treats may present a small choking hazard just like food can to humans. We recommend monitoring your dog when eating treats and understand their eating habits and choosing treats accordingly. You agree when purchasing our treats that you do so understanding this minimal risk of feeding them to your dog and do not hold Fishtastic responsible or accountable for your decision to feed your pet our treats.

We are dedicated to giving you and your dog (or cat) the best.

Any item can be refunded if it is returned within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

With all returns and refunds, each issue will be taken on case by case and the outcome is ultimately at Fishtastic’s discretion. When placing orders on our store, please order your items carefully and feel free to ask for our advice prior to making a purchase.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered below, don’t hesitate to bark at us: it’s important to us to follow up any issues with our treats.

You have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees.

  • If purchased at fishtasticdogtreats.com, make sure you know your order number.
  • If you purchased at one of our stockists, we recommend getting in touch with them first to ask about their returns policy. Please note we are not able to offer a refund for products purchase somewhere other than our website.
  • Send us some photos of your treats — we need these to assess and confirm any issues with your products.
If you received incorrect items

On the rare occasion you have received the incorrect item please get in touch with us with your order number.

Fishtastic Dog Treats reserve the right to provide you with a full refund or credit for your order in the case of a genuine error caused by any of our I.T. systems and website, or by our team members or 3rd parties.

If treats received are faulty

We will take each occasion case by case and will determine what to do with the goods you have received.

If there are bugs or mould on products

We are dedicated to giving you and your dogs the best – that’s why we rigorously check all treats in storage and during the packing process.

As Fishtastic treats are natural products and dried naturally, they can attract more moisture if they are stored incorrectly and are more susceptible to these rare issues. We can assure you that all treats leave the Fishtastic warehouse in perfect condition. Remember that our treats are best stored in a dry, cool place, and air-tight for freshness.

So that we can do our very best to help you, send us some photos of your treats to at support@fishtasticdogtreats.com. We can assess these and confirm any issues with your products.

If you have questions about the colour of the treat

Our products are mostly single ingredient and 100% natural; and like every animal, every piece will have its own unique colour and shape – that’s why we love it! The dual ingredient treats can also differ slightly is colour for this same reason.

We use ONLY Australian wild caught, sustainably sourced seafood, however if you’re still concerned please get in touch with us by e‑mail at support@fishtasticdogtreats.com and send us some photos of your treats. We can assess these and confirm any issues with your products.

It is our obligation to give you and your dog the best, so if we see something’s wrong we can offer you a replacement or refund.

If the treat is smaller than advertised

Natural treats come in a range of weird and wonderful shapes. We do our very best to keep our natural products within reasonable variations of size and weight, but there will always be a normal variation in our treats.

  • Our Shark and Fish Tails are determined by the size of the fish when caught
  • Our Whole little Fish sizes and oil content are determined by what time of year they are caught

If your treats are smaller, lighter or oilier than advertised, please get in contact with us at support@fishtasticdogtreats.com and send us some photos of your treats. We can assess these and confirm any issues with your products.

If the treat is not long-lasting

While we do have guidelines on our store and on each product page to recommend the right size chew for your dog, some doggies are stronger chewers than others. We suggest sizing up next time to give your dog some extra bite in their treat.
With all issues, please get in contact with us at support@fishtasticdogtreats.com and send us some photos of your treats. We can assess these and confirm any issues with your products.

If all is fine with your treat, we’ll let you know to size up otherwise we can offer you a replacement or refund.

If you've changed your mind, or your doggo doesn’t like their treats

Most dogs are barking mad for our 100% natural Aussie treats and sometimes they need to get used to the pure, grain-free, additive-free taste!

We don’t offer refunds in the unlikely event that your pet dislikes Fishtastic or you change your mind. We recommend you offer our product to a friend or family member.

Returns

Our warehouse address is 7/9 Dewar Street, Mission Beach, Qld, 4852. You will need to return items to this address. For returns under our guarantee or due to a mistake on our part, at our cost it will either need to be returned to an Australia Post outlet or we will arrange a time with you for a courier to collect it from you, whichever we decide as it will depend on your location and the method used to ship the original order to you.

Refund Times

All refund and credits will be completed within 7 days of agreement of the amount and us receiving the returned product. It might take a few days longer to receive your refund depending on how you paid (ie PayPal can take 3-7 days to process refunds). When applicable, replacements will be shipped within 5 working days of receiving the item(s) to replace.
